Healthy mindset – healthy life

I was inspired to focus on the field of diet and nutrition because I like to be able to help people to change the way they live their lives. I work in a unique way combining Nutritional Counselling with Health Coaching to ensure that my clients not only know what steps they need to take but how to put the steps into practice in a way that works specifically for them. Nutritional Counselling with Health Coaching work extremely well together. Most people have issues in life and they use food as an escape mechanism. If you are able to work on and improve your mindset then there is an 85% chance you will never put weight on again. I am specialised in supporting adults and teenagers who suffer with distressing gastrointestinal conditions and help them with emotional eating, weight control, binge and eating disorders to help them restore a healthy relationship with food.

I work hard to provide the support, motivation and coaching my clients need in order for them to achieve their health goals and overcome the barriers that have held them back in the past. My approach is not ‘one size fits all’. I tailor a targeted nutrition bespoken plan to suit my clients individual needs as well as encouraging and supporting them through the process. All my recommendations are based on scientific evidence and research backed up by clinical experience.

A large number of people believe that food such as granola and instant oatmeal are health. However, they are actually extremely unhealthy due to the sugar and oil that is added. Eating healthy whilst travelling can be a real challenge. However, I advise trying to choose snacks such as fruit and vegetables and to drink coconut water instead of sugary alternatives. Also, try to avoid breads, pasta, dairy foods and fast food. It is beneficial to eat smaller portions but eat often throughout the day. It is important to find a good balance between maintaining a healthy diet and living life to the fullest.

A healthy lifestyle is one which helps to keep and improve people’s health and well-being.
